Fake questions are so much more fun to answer than real ones, cuz you get to come up with stupid answers, not that people don't answer real questions with stupid answers anyway.

Maybe because they cannot tell the fake ones from the real ones? Is this a real one? I am not so sure, really. :)

Because the fake questions seem more intelligent, the real ones are the dumb ones, even more dumber than the person asking it.

The whole of present day world is pushed into the groove of outsmarting each other (call it dog-eat-dog, survival of fittest, or any name), and the educational institutions churn out only that kind of stuff. All this affects the mind set or attitude towards "life". So , despite your genuine surprise at this (you seem to be an exception, fortunately, since this question occurred to you), the mind of the common person naturally "seeks' a question that matches his (acquired) inclination ( EVEN FOR HIS FAVOURITE PASSTIME like Yahoo Answers !).

Because the fake questions are so impossible to resist in giving an answer. My hand automatically takes the mouse over [Answer this Question] and [click] on it. My brain screams "NOooo, Don't do it!". Then some force enters me and takes over to answer that question. As my brain returns to normal it hangs in sorrow, and chants "not another one, not another one....".

you see my friend. Peoples minds are shallow and narrow, and most of all,.... lazy thinkers!! See for a average person, its far better to answer stupid or fake questions, but to post a real, deep question, oh that scares them off, and you know the ones I'm talking about don't you?!?! They will say things that discourage you, instead of asking the damn question!!!! Lazy-narrowed, shallow minded indiviuals!! Thats why!!!
