If you mean in Where are the greeks of the ancient society? Well it is quite simple. The social morality of the people fell which cause the very fabric of the society to come apart. With no moral values there was nothing to keep the society together.

They had their tiny little city states and those weren't enough to withstand the legions of the Roman Empire.
They got conquered militarily but took over Roman art and mythology.
