If you reside in the U.S.A., there should be some kind of ESL classes (English as a Second Language). Also, getting a tutor could help. When I was learning Spanish, I found a pen pal to communicate with. That helped me a lot. That's another option, as well as just learning on your own. It's easier to learn from a teacher or tutor, but it is possible to learn by book or tape. I learned a little German on my own. Good luck! :)

Reading things in English, watching shows in English and trying to mimic the sounds. I'm learning Spanish, and I like to put websites and things in the Spanish version so it gives me a challenge and when I don't know a word, I look it up and I learn a new one. I also like to talk to people who speak Spanish as a first language, it really helps to here how it's supposed to sound and look. Basicly, just use the language.
