If your body shrinks, every molecule in your body will shrink. You breathe in the air, the oxygen molecules that you breathe in will be much larger than the molecules in your blood. The hemoglobin in your blood won't be able to interact with the these larger oxygen molecules and you will die from suffication.

PS I have something to say to JP, ANTS BREATHE AIR, so your answer is erroneous (you probably don't know what that last word means so I'll tell you. It means wrong).

jp is right you egg head the human body does contain to many cells and for your info a ant has a open circulatory system while a human has a closed one which means that o2 can diffuse in the ants blood but it would probably be to much for it to diffuse in our blood plus our hemoglobin is a certain size right now and it can only pick up 4 o2 molecules if it shrunk it would be able to fit all of that and we probably would die ...so chill out on jp

You only evolve to adapt to new surroundings. I think humans are big enough (and bigger than they need to be) to find food for themselves.
