Italy reached the semis after that contoversial penalty given to them in the match against Austrailia,N France has advanced to the finals after yesterdays Unfair penalty..whats happening here ,whom do I support?I wanted a team which has played fair football to win....now I dont feel like supporting any of the two teams.......what do you guys say?

The French penalty was fair. There is an obvious hanging on Henry's ankle inside the box...it was not a violent kick, it was just a regular-a-bit-dirty kind of foul...Henry didn't roll oll over the place holding his leg, he just failed, stood up, the referee called the penalty and fuego!
By the way, a penalty doesn't mean an automatic goal, somebody has to pass the GK. Ricardo is a bad ***, that was an amazing kick. France had one chance, they took it, and won. From their own words, they were tired and just fought to stay alive, they did better at that than Germany. They played and beat Brazil and Spain just before, i think they're amazing.
I think there is a justice, because Portugal is a bit dirty, they like the diving thing, the sneaky kicks, they got caught in their own game. If they would put their energy playing clean amazing football, they'll be the greatest team on earth.

What was so unfair about the PK in the game against France?
Remember, Italy had plenty of time to score after the allegedly "unfair" penalty, so France's defence as obviously better. Cheer for France!
Or cheer for no one and just watch the game impartially. There isn't a rule that says you have to cheer for someone. And if you are so perturbed by the "fairness" of their wins, don't watch it at all.

One thing you have failed to mention with the Italy v Aussie game, you never slide tackle your opponent inside your own goal area.. The Aussie player should have let the goalie take care of the Italian player or another team-mate...
Unfair penalty are said by those whose team lost due to that type of score...
So whenever there is a PK look carefully at why it is.. Chances are it is due to a slide tackle

I thought the France penalty was fair, Henry didn't need to throw his hands up in the air though.

i dont support france but it was a penalty. i know hemry went down rather spectacularly but the portuguese guy did make contact with henry's leg, so it was a pen. portugal wouldn't have scored all night as they have no strikers.

yeah..you right..i feel like this is the most boring final ever..i think i'm gonna enjoy 3rd/4th place match more than that..germany vs portugal..wow!!that's a dream final..
