Yep. As other are saying, there are lots of horrid events going on all around the world.
The gross part is that our medias are insisting on broadcasting over and over the same things - in this moment, it is the soccer world cup... at other times, we focus on another event - maybe a movie outing, the Oscar ceremonies, what clothes Paris Hilton is wearing... and whole populations get wiped out in silence.
There have been hundreds of thousands drowned in the Yangtze Kiang a couple of years ago... while we were talking about the oil prices hikes....
In a word: get information. Don't listen too much to the media, because the information provided is mono-directional and controlled by what our governements (note the plural here, I am not pointing a political finger) what us to learn and know. Use internet, read other countries news - CNN is very partial everywhere, try to find actual sources. Keep an open mind, and don't expect a Deus ex-machina (aka a GOD) to solve our problems.

Yes, this is something that has been going on for a long time. But you seem to only want to side of this issue. It does go both ways, the new government led HUMAS has been killing Israeli women and children as well. If you point something like this out at least point out both sides of the story.
