witch one is funnier mad tv or saturday night live, tell me what you think and why, i really can't decide to tell you the truth, i love those kenny rogers sketches and and the chris farley days of snl

if you would have asked this about 10 years ago..then definitely snl, but as some have said, snl is really out of focus and timing. The skits start off well, but they dont seem to have an ending. Mad tv is still fresh and the characters are really funny.

well i would choose snl but they really need some better people on there. All the good people are gone. Chris Farley, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Molly Shannon, I could go on forever but mad tv is pretty cool as well but i still choose snl

Now days I would have to say Mad tv ... SNL hasn't been all that good for years - Too many of the good ones have passed away... John Belushi, Chris Farley, Phil Hartman -
Although still just about anytime Alec Baldwin hosts its Still funny

These days it's mad tv, but if we were to look at the long run, SNL.
SNL typically goes through a bad period before each really good set of comedians, and I think that they are in that period right now.
Mad tv is still fairly new compared to SNL, but it is freaking hilarious.
So, until the next set of awesome people on SNL, I'd say mad tv for now.

Now- Mad TV. Without a doubt. SNL is a complete waste of TV now besides the occasional creative and funny skit and some performances.

Mad tv is SOOOO much better than SNL. I am a big fan of Stewie!!! He cracks me up!!! SNL isn't the same without Chris Farley.

It is definitley a hard choice, but I'd have to choose SNL only because I think it's funny to see celebrities host and most make fun of themselves and I like the performances. Although I do love MAD TV for baby stewie.

with the current cast of SNL i would vote for Mad TV. SNL just has not hit on the gold mine of a great cast in many years. You can't beat the early years.

SNL with Dana Carvey, Will Ferral, Chris Farley, David Spade, and Tim Medows. The new ones suck.
