We have tried a couple of things. This year the black pepper sprinkled in the areas you suspect they are entering from. They really hate black pepper. The other thing is lemon sented dish soap. pour a little around where the ants are. The ants won't cross it. The black pepper is best though.

Try a product called "TARRO" ant killer It is just borax and syrup the ants eat it and take it back to the nest where they deposit it and it kills off their food source and they go away.put some in a shallow lid and place it on the counter top.they will all go to it for a couple of days and then just dissapear.

Go to your local home and garden and pick up what is called Ant Bait. Put it in places where you see ants, they will take the bait back to the colony to feed everyone and they will all die at the hill.

let your dog eat em'!

seriously... if you have a place to put your dog outside, do that, and spray it down. Ant's are percistant, if that doesnt work maybe fix the source of where they are entering the house from. call an exterminator if its that bad.

try drawing a circle around them with chalk thats always fun :)

We had ants in my kitchen and I killed them with water. If they're on the floor, you can mop them, or you can poor a cup of water on them if they're on the counter. It may or may not work, if you don't want to have to dry it up, you might not want to.

You knkow whats awsome?
if you draw a chalk line ant's wont cross it, why? well it interupts their chemical pattern, they cant make patters across it esp if its you draw through their pattern, they'll get lost.
Also, a simple mix of dish soap and water....like 9 parts water to 1 part soap, just enough to get a foamy...will kill ants.
try it.
