In the case of the Israeli's and Palestinian's, for centuries they have been taught to hate each other practically from childbirth and have killed and persecuted each other endlessly. Imagine if you grew up in a society where you had friends and relatives that had been killed by suicide bombers or the army had come in and killed your friends and or relatives in response to a suicide bombing. The pain you would feel would likely turn into resentment and hate.

How do we fix it? I don't know, the frailty is in the human heart, not in the love of God. If we could reprogram the world to make everyone more tolerant/forgiving and to truly try to love your neighbor it would be a start.

some people go thru life looking for a reason to be offended,, and if they disagree or do not understand ,,they are offended,

i dont think it is jealousy, it is anger, fear, ignorance, and being a busy body reacting to things that if they do not like they can ignore, rather than minding the life they live in and working at being better in all ways, it is easier to point the finger at others and not face their own bull they create, or do not take care of

jealousy, insecurity, fear of the unknown. ignorance, laziness, tis easier to hate somthing because you don't easily understand it than to actually learn something new sometimes.
