I have heard that, when planes have a route to take, that if anything goes off course, that the FAA, is notified. Then the government comes in and takes over. IF that is the case, Why didnt the goverment take over on 911??..Why did so many people lose their lives?

Easy, Lover; the planes didn't go off course, atleast not until the last minute. Besides, your question exibites a high level of illiteracy, while it may seem, in your everday life that the government is in total control...this is far from the truth. while the government may attempt to give the illusion that they are in total control, this is only smoke, and mirrors. If one is to live a successfully, successful life, then they must take, and maintain control over their onr life, with-in the frame-work of modern civilized thinking, other-wise, their life will slowly decend into depressive bitterness, as the world seems to spin wildly out of control...Education lover, Education....Peace,Love,& +Comprehension...MesighAh...CanU...

I am sure that they were completely prepared for four different airlines to be hijacked at the exact same time, and fly towards four different targest at the exact same time.
It wasn't even until the second plane hit that we knew this was attack.
Have you ever tried to get ANYTHING done fast with the government? Apparently not.

Bconehead - are you sure that its not BONEHEAD?

Fact is before 9/11 a flight going off course would not have been considered a terrorist threat. We had grown too lax and complacent, we let our guard down and we paid for it.
