Hi, I am dude, who has big eyelashes by nature. Once again not my fault, just genetics and I HATE THEM!!!! Eyelashes fall into my eyes all the time, so I am an expert on taking them out by myself, but this time it seems that there is a one particular small eyelash that is growing towards an eye and not outwards. I double checked it. It is not a loose eyelash as usual. This one is growing towards an eye. I tried turning it outward with a wet cloth and other stuff and it does not work. It is behind other rows of eyelashes and is growing on its own. It is hurting my eye and I can't see as well with that eye as I can see with the other. What do you think it is and what should I do?

The problem with plucking it out is it's so small, but is very close to my eye. I am just afraid that I might harm my eye. If It was a big eyelash, I would have done it, but it's small and is VERY close to my eye.

God damn, call your doctor and ask the desk lady if you oughta go in. It might keep coming back if you pluck it.....Ask her if it'll come back though.

I often have eyelashes growing the wrong way so can sympathise. The only difference it that i am a girl so have the tools to deal with it... tweezers etc. I know that you said you did not want to use tweezers because you were afraid of your hand slipping and having a messy accident! But i honestly believe it is the only way, try lifting the eyelid away from the eye and then zoom in on the lash. Where there's a will there's a way... or go to the doctors. Good luck.

Try using an eyelash curler several times a day; maybe that would retrain it to grow the way you want!
