should we innate a preemptive strike on north Korea now?

i think we should do like the swat team an take the threat out while we can before anybody gets hurt .. they are directly threatening the world ,basically saying f*ck y'all, we will do what we want, and you will do nothing about it but sit there like the *****'es you are and take it up the @ss, now i'm not gonna take it up the @ss like a hoe, so who's with me? should we nuke these midget f*cks or what?

well, technically, it's not totally a preemptive strike. If you believe that the long range missile that was fired actually could have reached the mainland United States AND that it malfunctioned and was not aborted, then technically, the US has been fired upon. It doesn't really matter if it was a rocket with no war head, they obviously couldn't control it very well. It doesn't make a difference if a rocket is carrying a warhead when it lands in your bedroom.
That being said, I don't think so. I think China is pissed (or at least acting that way) at North Korea. Despite Kim Jong Il's dilusions of grandeur, North Korea would get stomped by French National soccer team if they didn't have China's support. (Obviously, I'm being facetious, before anyone comments). I think the best course of action is to wait it out and see if China is saying the same things privately to North Korea as it has said publicly. If China doesn't support it, I don't think Kim Jong Il is even crazy enough to try this crap again.

What are we going to strike with, all of our soldiers are in Iraq fighting a no win, nonsense battle. North Korea knows the US is in no shape for another war, all our soldiers are tired and need some rest from all the killings and be at home with their families.

It's tempting but, no. We're in no position to use a military option. The DMZ would collapse and we'd have another bloody land war in asia. (Didn't you see The Princess Bride?)

Let us instead starve them out. Their own policies and ideals have them on the brink of mass starvation already. We could just give them a little push while we let Taiwan and Japan go nuclear and contain them until Kim dies and rots.

Not yet. I hope diplomacy will work but since it has not been very effective in the past 100 years this thing may come to that. The NK president is paranoid and thinks he can will a nuclear war.
