your friend and you had an arguement and your friend said awful things about your appearance and tried to get back at you by giving personal insults. Do people do this often in arguements? It seems like alot of people get very vindictive and want to hurt someone as much as possible to make themselves feel better.

People go on the offensive due to a sense of insecurity. Anger is an emotion born out of insecurity and helpness. When a person gets these two emotions, they tend to lash out at the object closest to them and if you are the one then that is it. It is unfortunate but that is the way it is.

Everybody, when angry, reacts differenlty. But yes, some people do that. If a friend of mine did that to me, what I would do, would depend on if it's a girl or not. But I think my first option would be, to avoid that friend for awhile.

yes thats what i call inhumane and in the real world sometimes that's when you feel like kirking and acting like a complete b**** to them.. and next time just tell them to f*** off!

yes, when people get really mad, they react with emotion, not with logic, so they say the first thing that comes to mind.

yeah they make drama up and can be hurtful but you ahve to get over it, dont take anything tothe heart and believe it.
