Well when i was 12, i did two things, had a paper route, and did odd jobs, odd jobs were anything from mowing lawns, yard work, bottle picking, doing errand's for people, shovelling snowed in driveways, doing shopping for elderly neighbours. from my paper route i made 85.00 dollars a month, plus with my odd jobs i would pick up another 45.00 or 50.00 a week so i would put the money in the bank, some were around 250.00 or 275.00 a month, over the course of a year that was around 2800.00 to 3200.00 depending on how many odd jobs i would pick up per week, sadly by the time i was 18 and able to with draw money i should have had close to 20.000 in the bank, but my mother and sister were both on welfare and kept dipping into my account and not putting money in, so i had about 107.00 dollars in my account when all was said and done, so much for all that hard work. please don't do that to your child, son or daughter it tends to disillusion them, and makes them think that why work if you don't get paid.

How about selling stuff on eBay? You might have to get a parent to set up an account ...and a little capital. Take look at whats selling on eBay and visit the thrift stores and yard sales in your area. Yo can make a nice profit.

How about watering the grass and plants for elders in your community? I used to make extra money that way when I was your age.... also, try holding a garage sale to sell stuff you no longer use.. clothes, toys, gadgets, etc... that works too,
Taking out trash, washing trash cans, walking dogs, bathing dogs, etc...

Ask people and businesses around where you live if they have any odd jobs or errands they need done! My brother worked at a gas station and car wash for cash.
