It is so absurb, i don't know where to start. The place is Singapore. The job was completed as per agreement, the customer did not pay me the outstanding balance. The absurb customer goes on to delay payment (because it will take about a month for hearing) by filing claims at the small claims court against me . On the day of hearing at the small claim court, the customer did not turn up and give reason that he is out of country. The court reject his request to adjourn the hearing, the case was dismissed. since its free of charge for him to file another claims, he may refile again when he tries to delay payment or if he finds the $ (then maybe he might turn up at court to pay me) He is buying time. It will waste my time again to attend to the court. Furthermore, the customer becomes uncontactable for payment. Any laws against this customer for abusing the legal channel or for filing false claims? How to prove he is abusing the legal channel and filing false claim
