Well i have lost some weight and the past 4 months my cycle has been normal as can be. But this month for some reason I had my period and it was really light and then the 2 weeks following its been a light spotting style would hold as much as a pantie liner so not to to bad. But my question is this normal for women to do this at time, Should i be concerned? ( I have anxiety so please dont scare me be honest if you know expecially women or similur experiances thank you!!!!

I was never "regular" in my cycles until I began birth control in my early 20's. I was anemic due to heavy cycles and the low dose pills not only regulated me but also reduced the flow duration and amount significantly which was a godsend. I went off of the pill for good after my last child and found that I was less moody after it all got out of my system. Childbirth was the final answer to my regulating as is the case with most women with this issue. Until you want to have children, the pill is a very convenient way to help. I would NOT recommend Depoprevara shots- they are rife with side effects and will make you gain weight. I know of a divorce due to the extreme mood changes of the wife while on this shot.
Now, on to the between cycle bleeding. First, and most importantly I might add, make an OB/GYN appointment right away and be sure to tell them that you are having the problem or they will book you way out and you need to address this now to make sure that things are okay and to alleviate your anxiety. I used to have some spotting or even a lighter period between normal cycles when I was not regulated and I do not find that to be too unusual in women with this condition BUT you need to see your doctor and make SURE as this is also a symptom of much more serious conditions that can be life threatening. Now, that said, the odds are GREATLY in your favor that all is okay but you need professional advice and not to self diagnose.

Having that disorder may very likely be causing it. I would talk it over with your Doctor. Be sure to express any and all concerns with him/her. Write them down. But go talk to him or her....that is your best bet....he/she knows you and your body better than the people on Yahoo answers. He/she can answer your questions and make sure you don't get overly concerned...some people on here will only try to upset you. You don't need that. Call your Doc in the AM or you could even call the OB/GYN in the hospitals. They are there 24/7 and most have an all night hotline. Good luck!

I had the same thing too. And can be kinda scary. I had to stop holding it off so i went to see a doctor and i was put on birth control. Everything seems fine now. I havent gained any weight off it like some people do. Dont be scared, just go get checked. Im sure you are gonna be fine!

Honestly, you shouldn't be worried. Are you on glucophage or anything for the PSO? Since it's not heavy or with many clots, I wouldn't be worried. Being on the pill will help regulate it as well, but if the bleeding doesn't stop in the next week or so, or if you'd feel more comfortable doing it now, I'd make an appt. with your GYN.

There really is no way to answer that question online. Even a doctor wouldn't try to answer based solely on what you've wrote here. If you are concerned then an appointment with your doctor is a step in the right direction. Get going and good luck!

Don't get scared but go in and see a professional. That is why they make the big bucks. I do know that irregular cycles stem from all sorts of things. ie. Stress, STDs, pregnancy of course and a number of other things. If your doc doesn't seem too worried, trust him/her or go in and get another opinion. If never hurts to be concerned but don't let your worries get the best of you! Good luck hun.

You really need to go in and get a full regular exam at the gynecologist. All women should. No one can safely answer your question without a physical exam and PAP test.

Instead of stressing out about what may or may not be wrong, head to your doctors office. The doctor is the only person who can tell you if something is wrong or not.

Cystoscopy is not for polycystic ovaries. Your problem is common but not serious. Please take an appointment and see a Gyn specialist.
