The one that was choosen. Considering people of that era considered Native Americans to be sub-human I would say it was good for them they didn't go for slavery or all out anihilation, both of which could have happened.

Gradual intergration may have also happened had the Natives been regarded as something other than pests or vermin.

The British took the Biological Warfare Option by giving the Natives blankets infected with small pox. I beleive it is the first usage of germ warfare in history.(Or atleast the wilful use of disease infected material to carry a hot angent to antoher people)

"hey john j"it was not the british who gave them infected blankets it was the americans so get your facts straight before you open your mouth,the white americans would prefer that extermination of the natives would give them free reign to take what land they wanted,there were heaps of treaties made but the white americans as usual didn't keep to their word(what has changed)so to sum up there were no options for the natives ,either get of the land or die,

the government should of upheld the deals they gave the Indians look at suix all they want is a small part of the black hills back most just want what was promised to them
