Pi is a number most commonly used to find the area, volume, etc of circles and spheres. It also comes into play with some probability and trigonometry when using radians.

Pi root 20 is the number pi times the root 20.

Pi is an irrational number. It has all these numbers after the decimal point that don't end or repeat. To see the first million digits of pi, go here: http://3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592.com/index1.html

Pi is the ratio that you get when you divide the circumference of any circle by the diameter of that circle. It is an irrational number, which means that its decimal representation has no final (left-most) digit. It has been calculated to many thousands of decimal places, but is commonly estimated at 3.14159, or 3.1416 for most practical applications.

Hope that helps!
