I keep having the same dream, It takes place at school during gym class, and in the dream, the biggest jock kisses the totally straight gym teacher, then they beat the crap out of my gay friend. It is really weird, I have this dream almost every night. Does anyone know why I keep having this dream? Is there anything I can do to stop it? If so, what?

You have a crush on your Gay friend, but you know you can't get him, so to pay him back, you want the crap beat out of him, and by a lot of people so he will suffer a lot.
You know that the gym teacher is straight and in good physical condition and could do the job for you. Since a gym teacher is most seen in the gym, that is where you want it to take place. And in the gym you know that a lot of people can be in there and there's plenty of room for them to beat him up.

I am not sure if there is anything that you can do stop it. When you keep having the same dream, the dream wants to deliver a certain message. Once the you get the message and "resolve" the question/problem offered by the dream, the dream would probably stop.

The main problem here is understanding what the dream is trying to tell you. I doubt you can afford psychotherapist and would not recommend one unless you are depressed or something.

You can find more about dream interpretation by reading Jungian psychology books.

Gymnasium ~To dream that you are in a gymnasium, indicates that you need to apply what you learned and incorporate what you already know into your daily life.
Homosexual ~If, in your dream, you are not comfortable with homosexuality, then it suggests some fears/anxieties about your masculinity (if you are male) and femininity (if you are female). You may be experiencing some insecurity in your relations with the opposite sex. To dream that the guy you like in real life is gay, represents your anxieties and fears that he won't like you back. If he was gay, then it would be easier to dismiss your feelings for him. And it would be easier for you to say that you have no chance with him. (do you have a crush on the guy?)
Fighting ~To see others fighting in your dream, suggests that you are unwilling to acknowledge your own problems and turmoil. You are not taking any responsibility or initiative in trying to resolve issues in your waking life.

Dreams of any kind usually reflect unfinished business from your life or from just that day. Thoughts and fears that you may suppress while you're awake reside in your subconscious and can manifest when you're in a dream state. For example, nightmares may evolve from feelings of inadequacy or of not being worthy.
If you have unfinished emotional business while you're asleep, you can finish it while you're awake. Set up a ritual before you go to bed. Things that you can do:

1) Talk about the nightmare with someone. Give it a voice. Describe it fully, scene by scene, what happened and how you felt.
2) Write it out. Write out the whole scenario, including what happens when you wake up, if you sleepwalk, etc.
3) Imagine a more pleasant ending. It sounds simple, but getting every neurological loop involved can help finish the business.

First ask yourself where you REALLY stand in the issue of homosexuality.

Your dream may involve the following concepts...
Hypocrisy (jock and straight guy kissing).
Prejudices (beating the crap out of a gay)
Homophobia (idem)

It could also just mean how confused you are towards the topic so you should find your position if you still haven't.

It sounds like the gym teacher could be gay and the jock could possibly be gay but the no one suspects it. the only person that everyone sees and beats up is the person who is out of the closet or openly gay. Sometimes dreams are literal and sometimes they are relative.

Good Luck!!

k, First , The gym signifies open area where events take place. (your mind) . Your friend kissing the coach means( your aware that your friend likes same sex relationships) Getting the crap kicked out of him means(you are in fear for his well being) search in you mind what has happened in the past ,not too long ago, to see if he was in a bad predicament. That might have triggered your fear instincts ....once you make your determination on the activation cause , the dreams will subside....

In your dream, you are that gay friend, it is in you and you are afraid to come out because of what the other people will say about.
You like your coach and are afraid he knows your secret.
think about it and your dreams will stop.

i think ur being extra concerned lately that ur friend is going 2 get hurt bc she/he is choosing a different-from-norm culture to associate with. it's just processing out in a setting that u r familiar with and that u associate action and aggression with--P.E. class. tell ur friend how much u appreciate their friendship...u really must if u keep dreaming with concerns for their good. :)
