that all depends on the theatre and the location of the the theatre, as well as the time of day, (and at some places how new/old the film is).
I have seen the price be $5.00 up to $11.00 per ticket. the best thing to do is to call the theatre your thinking about going to. or you can search for there web page, if they have one. Fandango can help you out as well. (you can also get a listing of shows and times on these sites as well).

It all depends on what state you live in. In RI, its 9.75 but I talk to a friend down south who says that her movie tickets are 13.75.

It depends on what state you live in. In my state it is $6.75 at regal cinemas, but I was in vacation in California and it was $10.00 at Horton Plaza in San Diego. Call your local theater.
