It's not always horrible if you're lucky, but I know what you mean. I think it's wonderful to have some experience because you won't be wondering in 30 years if you missed something. just remember that what they put in the books isn't usually real, and the men that are like the books are hard to find and they usually have some other things going on that isn't always worth the romantic crap you get from them. marriage isn't and shouldn't be about sex, it's about a connection of the heart and soul. not that it shouldn't be a part of marriage, greatest is makeup sex after a good fight. if you're ok with that and he's ok with that...then it's ok.

of course it is not horrible, and you are not horrible or your lover,
If you are a Christian, a practicing Christian, you know that that is not the way God wants it according to scripture..
God will forgive you, if you repent, etc, the importand thing is if you feel you are doiing something wrong, and it does not feel right that it is wrong not horrible,
Sex is taken too casually, try it out first, etc, well there is moe to Love than sex, being good,
The love that is to be strong enough to bond you for life, have children grow old together, should not be taken casually, and should have deep devotion and commitment, anyone can get laid, and most unfortunately it is just sex,
and the mileage, and casualness can really make it not so special.
i do not know if i would be strong enough to resist, and wait until marriage, because if i am eally turned on,,, i , i, well i go for it,,,
i have come to realize, being older and more mature,, (in some ways) THAT putting too much emphasis on sex, and sex is the main source of your relationship something does get lost,, and the "special close intimate" PRIVATE BEAUTIFUL MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE IS JUST ANOTHER DAY,
I AM CONVINCED IF YOU CAN ACHIEVE TRUE FRIENDSHIP, TRUE LOVE, RESPECT ALL THE THINGS OUR GRANNYS AND THEIR GRANNYS SAID TO DO, AND WAIT, IT WILL BE BETTER THAN FANTASTIC..
Look at statistics, women make it so easy for men, live together, etc sex before marriage, and what is sacred and to look forward too, having babies, but then the work and responsibility goes with it, and back to the beginning, if you question this, and wait to find enough answers to convince you you are not horrible, than so be it,, go ahead, you don't need permission, you have your "OWN FREE WILL" and can rationalize, and talk yourself into anything in the name of love,

not understanding the question. If you're asking if the world will end with you doing the horizontal hula, no. Your next question will be, then what's the big deal? Pregnancy for one thing. Are you ready for children? STDs... your boyfriend may be YOUR first, but are you his? Is he free from disease? And no, you can't tell by looking, he could have the HPV virus( the virus that causes cervical cancer, which, at the least can leave you sterile, at worst, death...) he could be asymptomatic and have herpes, genital warts, gonnoreah, syphillis, chlamidia, trich, he could be asymptomatic and have HIV... you don't know.
Love is cool, and great and wonderful until you HAVE to take a trip to the doctor's office.

no it is necessary- sex is a very important part of a relationship- tons of relationships fail due to no chemistry in the bedroom- better to find out before you commit your life to one person that the two of u are sexally compatable.
p.s. you are 21 and old enough to make choices for yourself. Im sure you know about the std's and birth control - as long as that is taken care of and he respects you. Anyone who says its horrible is lying because i bet most of them didnt wait either. Jessica simpson waited- then she cheated on her husband and now they are divorcing. think about that.

what most people believe is not wrong is actually wrong because it is the easy way out, nobody is ready to be patient. if u have sex before marriage whats new in the marriage? and why gget married at all? just keep having casual sex.

Where is the surprise in that. To many people just sling it just for fun and that is how unwanted pregnancies happen. Tell him you want to wait till marriage and see how long he waits around. Then you will know how serious he is about you.

It is a sin, if that's what you're asking. But it's not horrible. People do it all the time. It's so normal nowadays, that it would totally go un-noticed.

I don't think so at all; I wasn't gonna wait to get hitched either. But I happen to think it's up to the individual - as long as you're doing what makes you happy, then the more power to ya.

No its not, there is nothing wrong with it, really the most important thing is that it is special to you, just most strong christians believe it is a sin, yet what isn't to religious people these days
