I put my clothes in the oven with chocolate chip cookies. I mean, I don't use chocolate chip cookies to put them in the oven. I just like how they smell...the chocolate chip cookies...not the clothes...

I really don't think it is a good idea to put clothes in the oven!
Check out your drier and vacuum the vents very carefully. Especially make sure your lint holder and vent are clean and the air vent leading to outside is also clean. Make sure both vents are free of any blockage. Also, be sure the back and under the drier are clean and not causing any blockage. If this does not work have a repair man check it out. If your clothes dryer is not heating well, it may not be a good idea to use it at all. Better to be safe than sorry. There are certain stores that have repairmen check and repair any make or model.
If you want the clothes to pre-dry hang them on hangers and let them air dry. You could leave them on the hanger and then just put them in your closet. There are also small drying racks that are quite inexpensive for your smaller items.
Good luck and please use caution when operating any malfunctioning appliance whether it is electric or gas or propane.

No way the fire department will be paying you a visit. Just let clothes pre dry a couple hours hung in the bathroom . Ususally the heavy items . Lighter items should be separated out and dried with likes. And yes I am a guy and I have done laundry for myself for many years . It gives my wife more time to relax.
Check the dryer vent outside for a birds nest lol

No ... please, please don't. Too big a risk for fire. It's more likely that your washing machine doesn't spin the clothes dry enough or that your vent (in the dryer) to the outside is all clogged up with lint. (also a BIG fire hazzard)
If you can get the vent checked out and have it cleaned ... that will most likely do the trick. Otherwise, hang your clothes up to dry over night. You can put them in the dryer to finish up and they will be fluffy and fresh.

No. Take Lola's advice and hang them up or put them on a drying rack. Then you can toss them in the dryer in the morning to fluff them and get the wrinkles out.

U can do it, put them in the warming drawer. Be careful as they can shrink. Normally denim and heavy cotton clothes will work. T-Shirts don't work nor underwear. Do not put in for more than half an hour. also make sure u have used fabric softner otherwise your clothes will stand up by themselves

I believe there could be something wrong with your dryer! Check the filter and the vent for lint clogs.
Those problems will cause a fire.

PLEASE DON"T PUT THEM IN THE OVEN !!!!. Wden dryer stops, take clothes out. What is not dry can be hung on hangers or a portable drying rack.
