The University of Miami did a study that implied that the murder rate increases when the moon is full. The Philadelphia Police Department also did a study that implied that violent crime increased during a full moon. Other studies seem to contradict these findings, however, so it is anyone's guess as to whether this is a myth or not
Why would a full moon affect human behavior? I assume that it is because there is more light.

Before true causes of mental disorders or strange behavior were really known, so called "experts" believed a full moon or full LUNAr phase caused this. This is where the term LUNAtic comes from. Some universities have conducted surveys that show overall there is no correlation between a full moon and higher birth rates, busier nights for police (i.e. more crime), or anything else.
My personal opinion [and I only "qualify" since I was a 911 operator,police/fire dispatcher for 8 years] is that on a full moon more people seem more active later in the night since it is brighter out and easier to feel awake. So, if more people are out then more things can be done by those people. In other words, the chances of more things being done by 100 people are greater than the chances of things being done by 10 people, right?

YES, I does, All living objects are coverd by a magnetic waves with different wave lenths, it differs from person to person. and this energy exists even after the death of the person. people becom close to other when this wavelengh is somewhat near to each other. during full moon, these magnetic waves for attracted towards to the poles, which will effect the charecterists of the living body. this wave length is so hing for the dogs, foxes, jackals etc ( u might notice them howling or showing their resistance during these days) if the wave lenth is less then the attraction also must be relatively less. and Those wont get affected by these.

It is said that full moon have an serious effect on the level of water. The human body is full of water, so "maybe" the full moon have an effect on us also.
We would have to study the subject, before we start promoting a potential myth.

Most animals receive environmental clues (i.e. from the moon cyle) that alter their behavior. Many animals have a "third eye" that is light sensitive, and so their behavior actually does change during a full moon. Humans have a "third eye" too, but it is covered by our thick skull.

I think humans believe that the moon is suppose to affect our behavior so we start acting the way we think we should be, weird or different. I think it affects our minds more than our actual behaviors.

certain...and it differences issues truly for the more serious. I many times have slightly extra complication snoozing than customary the evening earlier and then the day of... now to not indicate, i'm getting hungry, even for me. and that i ultimately end up wanting *salty* meals or *Meat*. that is like between the few situations of the month that such issues as pepperoni on a pizza or dried meats (like your narrow Jims) finally end up having an charm to me. and that i in simple terms sense complication-free and out of kinds the full day. i believe the day is on the *lowest end* of my own rhythms.

Absolutely - more light at night keeps people out doing stupid things instead of sleeping.

No, that couldnt happen. You could make yourself think that it does, and then change behaviors because your convinced. Make sence?
