You must have the heart of a Klingon! :-)
Seriously, having non-"normal" sex is not usually a deviant activity. There are some deviant sexual behaviors, such as beastiality, pedophilia, or non-consential sexual assault. However, between two consenting adults, however you see fit to express your sexuality is perfectly sane and up to you and your partner(s).
One need not have been abused in order to have this kind of desire. I'm not saying that it is genetically inbred, but there are many factors that go into the construction of a person's psyche. It could be something as simple as association, such as a connection made during puberty with violent actions. This is not a bad thing. Indeed, if everyone were expressing their sexuality in the same "normal" manner, I think things would be rather dull.
To answer your question, I will say that it is neither weird nor sick, but perfectly fine and perhaps even healthy in its own unusual way. Others will disagree, but ultimately it's your decision to belief that it isn't weird or sick. If this is troubling you, you may wish to seek the advice of a professional (psychologist, priest, etc.). However, I would guess that you are wanting to shed any fear of abnormalness. In my opinion, embrace your sexuality instead of believing it to be wrong. It's far more healthy to do so.

I think to a certain point, the whole bondage thing and violent sex is just considered kinky.. Of course unless it goes too far. We people tend to enjoy things that are forbidden, things that are frowned upon, things that we don't usually see.. Plus, being submissive or dominant is a turn on for alot of people. Alot of people enjoy violent sex, I don't think it's uncommon.. If it gets out of hand though, you might wanna see someone about it. Don't worry.
