Depends on where I'm at, how stressed out I am, and the stressor.
Usually, I take my world famous "cloud breaks". That usually involves me going to my "secret" place (that the entire world knows about and has easy access to), with a soda, or iced tea, and laying back on the hill watching the clouds go by.
If I do not have the availability of time or such to take a cloud break, I remove myself from the stress by (usually) performing a physical action to make a change: walking into the kitchen for a cup of coffee, going to use the "facilities", walking around the room stopping every couple of seconds to stretch one group of muscles or another, etc...

Then there is going into my studio, strapping on my bass, turning the stereo and the amp up, and jamming my brains out.

Well, there are a couple of things I do. I meditate, I take a really hot shower, I turn the music on. I do neck rolls to loosen up my upper back, shoulder and neck muscles. The get really tight when I'm stressed. I take some IB Profin when a headache occurs.

I sometimes cry. Like lately, I have been having such a hard time in my college math course that I have been brought to tears because im so scared of failing. It isnt a big deal but I dont want to retake it. If i have to i will.

There are so many forms of stress, and sometimes you have to pray that god will bring you through it. It is only temporary unless we make it out to be more than that.

I like to shoot. I pack up a few guns and head to the range for some quality quiet time.
Doesn't sound quiet does it? But it is. You start thinking about gun safety, and trigger squeeze, and sight picture, and your breathing, etc... etc.. and the next thing you know.. There's nothing else going on in the world. You've forgotten about your problems, you've got a big grin on your face, and you've gone through a box or two of ammo.

A great time. And a great date idea... I love it.

Stressed? You'll find me soaking in a hot tub filled with lavendar scented bubble bath, sipping a glass of red wine, and reading a good book. Of course, this is for us "girls", but I think it would help the guys, too!

I walk the beach until things seem a lot clearer. I have found that a good long walk clears the mind and puts things in perspective better than anything else.

Sleep but I have cried when the stress mounted and I was alone. It's not a pretty sight.
