It is not at all possible, each and every country needs specialised manpower. Most of the countries are ratified UN Convention on Human Rights, which authorises free movement of man as he wish. UK is a great country and has great economical potantial which called as international market as sleeping lion, the UK exchange rate was fall down until HSMP (Highly Skilled Migration Program), the immigrant mobilise the economy and improve the fince status of any country hence it has advantageous rather than disadvantageous. Asylum, refugee are some other political matters, which we have approach through humanitarion base.

No, they committed a crime by crossing out of one sovern nation into another sovern nation without the permission of either country. What if a homeless person broke into your house, decided that he liked it so much that he decided to stay. Would you let him stay or call the police to take him out? That's exactly what these illegal immigrants are doing. They didn't come to our front door and knock (entering the U.S. the legal way), they broke into the basement and moved in. They deserve NOTHING but a good swift deportation!

To "formerlypth" and agreeing others: True: America was founded on immigrants from all over by way of Ellis Island, the "melting pot" that created American culture.

But back then, we didn't have such a deadly illegal drug trade of cocaine and/or crack, we didn't have killer thug gangs with pea sized minds--baked on their crack and cocaine, incapable of controlling their murderous urges and enough Uzi firepower to start their own lethal war.

Open our southern U.S. borders to allow a flood of Mexicans to cross over: and you invite a higher degree of public danger not seen back when Ellis Island took in people seeking a better life.

Mexicans need to fight in their OWN homeland for a better, stronger, cleaner Mexico--not come here to ruin our country because theirs is. Mexicans need to STOP working of illegally low hourly wages and start demanding they get paid equally as American workers earn; they won't do THAT here and they need to do that THERE, in Mexico.

One of the most vexing political questions of our day. There needs to be a system to allow people to apply for citizenship, even those who entered illegally. But, how do you do it without disrupting the legal process for citizenship? Vexing indeed. Where is Solomon when you need him? Our decision makers aka politicians will continue to make this a political football.
