I have one and this is what I can tell you.
Pros - It gets better phone reception than even some of the newer modles and longer lasting battery power
Cons - It's wider and not as easy to hold and it has fewer bells and whistles on it.

It is less expensive than others, which can be a plus, but if I had more money, I would get a newer model. It works for me for now, though.

First thisng to remember the blackberry is a useful daily planning & messaging device with the capability to make phone calls.
Pro's - easy to keep on top of e-mails & messages with just a click of the thumbwheel. I love using telev on my B.B.(blackberry) large screen helps w/ maps. First I set all of my reacurring apptointments (bill due dates/birthdays)so that i take advantae of most of the features. It's got a full QWERTY board. I use it for my alarm to wake up in the morning. I can save full address and entire contact info instead of just 2/3 contact #'s. You can also set personal or corporate e-mail accounts (great for outside or in-th-field reps.) access your company e-mail away from the office. Bluetooth for going hands-free. Excellent mobile office. (oh yeah never has froze on me like you hear some other PDA's do) (some people call it a "crackberry" because you do get additcted

Pros - I don't know...other than the fact that it's new and probably won't break for a while?

Cons - would make you look like a self-important yuppie...
