Ya not to be mean or anything but this seems like it can be fixed without any problem.
I have seen people with much more bigger problem. Just say to him the next time you see him or call him that you were not sure if he was talking to you or now. Even if he though you walked away that kind of think does happen in groups of people from time to time.
Good luck.

Call him and tell him it was a misunderstanding. If you wait to long to talk it'll seem like you planned to say this for 2 weeks which IS phyco.
YOu didn't mean to be seeming like a ***** so it is not yur fault and if he doesn't see that then he is the idiot. You are freinds so he'll understand and "forgive you." Its really simple. You shouldn't be scared of taking to your friend especially when it is to say sorry or something to that effect.

I don't think you should worry about it too much. What I have learned in the course of trying to help myself get over anxiety is that usually the things you dwell over, the person you're worried about thinks nothing of it. Trust me, I'm sure he just thought you didn't hear him if he was talking to you. Hope this helps!!!

men forget things fast, not like us girls (we pout, hold a grudge too long etc,)
HE, the one you like probably never gave it a second thought,
next time you are around him, be attentive, and listen good etc,
if he brings up something and says you ignored him or should mention it,
apologize, and say, i was so preoccupied, and i did wonder if i seemed rude,
and thank him for pointing that out,
i bet if you called lhim up, he would not know what you are talking about, and maybe think you were "too interested" AND THAT WAS AN EXCUSE TO CALL \SO don't call,
ok.. don't call a guy, return calls but don't call a guy,,,,,,,,,,,

Contact him and tell him you really enjoyed seeing him on the 4th. Tell him you would really like to get together sometime if he's interested. Don't worry about what's past. Only what the future holds.

Just tell him what you told us here. Apologize and say, "I'm sorry I missed what you had to say, but I am listening now and I would love to hear anything you want to talk about."
I'm sure he will understand it was an accident. And if not he must not be that great of a friend.
good luck

just call him and tell him you got the feeling he was talking to someone else and latter realized maybe he was talking to you, but with so many things in your mine you are not completely sure. the truth is the best policy.

Stop tripping. You're alright. As long as you did not make any rude statements or comments; you good.
Good luck with the other guy.
