Most of the benefits are in land management. There are very few medical studies that show pesticides, fungicides and other man made chemicals, when applied to human consumption, are harmful to humans. This science is in its infancy. I don't want to find out 50 years from now that all the chemicals are horribly bad for you.

And they used to think that smoking cigarettes was good and healthy for you too.

organic food is not supposed to have any pesticides or other chemicals sprayed on them as supposed to non organic food..there is no scientific evidence that organic food would be better but me personally would prefer to eat food chemical free...but you have to be real careful when buying organic food because some foods that claim they are organic actually have some pesticides on them and it is legal as long as it is under a certain amount

Nobody really knows what the non-organic food will do or not do. Do you want to feed it to your children to find out?
