the best way to gently wash stuffed animals is by hand with liquid soap (All is good), use hydrogen peroxide if they are white or if you want to brighten up the color; I use a plastic scrubby to gently scrub, don't wring or twist, just squeeze the water & soap thru ...(dry cleaning would be risky) if there's any real bad sticky spot sometimes you can just cut out a little of the fur - (just tell 'em that it's not going to hurt!) - rinse & rinse, sometimes I rub a fabric softener sheet on them later to make 'em soft & smell good, air dry on a towel , use a comb or hairbrush to fluff 'em up when they are dry . . . .then tell 'em how good they look, as in, "Oh, you look so good! You're so clean!"

I have washed my stuffed animals this way: Put them in a pillow case, a few socks in the pillow case too, tie the end of the case, wash on delicate in warm water. I dried them on low heat in the dryer or lay them out to dry near the window.

Check for tags. Sometimes you might find one which describes cleaning methods. If all else fails, contact the manufacturer.
