Pierre Charles Bouvier (born May 9, 1979) is a Canadian musician, and the lead singer of the Canadian pop-punk band Simple Plan.
He was born in Montréal on 9th May, 1979. As a youth (before and partly during his musical career) Bouvier worked as a cook in a local barbecue restaurant, and aspired to becoming a marine biologist.
At age 15, he and his schoolmate Chuck Comeau founded the punk rock band Reset, in which Bouvier was the lead singer and bassist.
He later left Reset, dissatisfied with its musical direction, and, after Comeau did likewise, they founded Simple Plan, where he has played guitar in several songs, in addition to his lead-singer role.
He hosted a show on MTV called Damage Control.
His friendships with musicians include that with Avril Lavigne, and with the twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte.
As of 2006 Bouvier lives in the vicinity of Montréal, but frequently visits California. His girlfriend Lachelle sometimes travels with him on tour.
