30 years? I expect to be dead.
For the rest of the world?
We are faced with more problems today than during the worst years of the cold war. We have several nations capable of nuking us and that number will undoubtedly grow over the next few years.
We have an energy crisis where a small cartel of nations and corporations hold the cards for the future of any nation that needs energy to grow. The US is seeing a huge chunk of what could be growth and personal gains hijacked by these global corporations. But they are powerful and I do not expect they will simply roll over, no matter who is elected to any single nation. The energy demons own the world right now...
Politics have become a religion with poeple loving and hating along the lines of what party one supports. This sort of blind loyalty pays huge dividends to the politicians that control them. We have become a nation of sheep who bleet on command.
Nothing good. The future will likely see indivual freedoms become an anachronism to a government/corporate big brother that will know everything you eat, drink and maybe someday, even think.
Short of a global uprising, there is really nothing we can do to stop it either.

In 30 yrs I will be 74 yrs old. WOW That's OLD... LOL
My kids will be all done with school. YIPPEE!!! No more HOMEWORK for ME to help with and do!!! LOL
Hopefully all 3 will have good paying jobs. Possibly all will be married with children. So I would be a grandma... LOL
Hubby will still be working, moaning, complaining.. LOL
Technology will be so far advanced.
Computers EVERYWHERE.
Possibly NO cash all CREDIT/ATM/DEBIT.

future will be hightech and polluted. you have to carry this portable oxygen tank while walking along the streets. a small cylindrical canister that contains oxygen that would be good for one month consumption. i see myself using that in the future... so you are.
