I have an alto voice, but i can hit accapella really well. Someone on here suggested Sarah Mcgalans "I will remember you". I'm really thinking about doing that. Any other suggestions before I make up my mind?

Oh it's not actually the real american idol. It's an american idol competition at a fair, and then the winner will get to try out at the real american idol and get it all paid for travel expenses and such. Thank you guys so much!

Ms. Erica,

Now although I'm not sure of your voice and its nature, (vibe).... you know jazzy, alternative, rock, R&B? .............

Whatever it is, I would like to recommend a legend song by the Ms. Aretha Franklin. (You Make Me Feel) A Natural Woman.

This song is a sweet classic. That grabs attention! And If you can sing.....Gyrl....... You can make this song work for you with an alto voice!! You can make it your own. ...........................

(Kelly Clarkson ... did!) Hope everything goes well for you.

Choose the songs your used to,not the ones other people choose. No offence to Gwen Stafani but for a talent show I was entering, everyboby was trying to force me to do the song Rich Girl, however , I did a song called Tomorrow. I also won first place doing it.

Sing something entitled "American Idol and it's local knockoff competitions brainwashed our youth into a smoldering pot of pop culture". That's a beautiful song.

I were given a competent one - King of a few thing by using Sara Bareilles. each and every time I hear that music, I continually imagine of "Be ok" by using Ingrid Michaelson. If not that, some thing by using Colbie Calliat is really on the point of an Ingrid music.

choose something you are comfortable with. i wouldn't pick somehting on the charts now because you are going to be compared to those artists. bless the broken raod by rascal flatts, what about love by heart, the river by garth brooks. just go for something you can sing well and know the words too and that will really show off your voice.
