Oh boy. Im am the same way and im 15...Im pretty bad myself , ive created what I call the Fiery Ferriswheel (tie a rope around some steel wool then put a 9 volt battery to it and spin). I know its hard not to mess with fire, being an extreme pyro myself. I also set my hand on fire with hairspray, not to mention the flame thrower i made with hairspray. Just warn him of the dangers, and let him know that only YOU can prevent forest fires.

Take this behavior seriously. Many of the pyromaniacs who get put in jail as adults loved playing with fire when they were children. This is not something you should ignore.
I don't know what kind of programs you have for child fire starters in your area but this needs treatment. If you can find no one who can help you then contact the City of Phoenix (AZ) Fire Department and ask them for advice. They have a good program for dealing with this problem and might know someone in your area who could help. Perhaps they could give you some tips for dealing with this problem themselves.
Please get help for your son as this behavior often becomes worse and more dangerous.
I'll be praying for you and that your son gets the treatment he needs!

eeek!!! do something immediately. my friend did that and he got out of the hospital recently with bad burns to the hands, face, and back. tell your son that people on yahoo answers said they know people that have been badly injured. maybe then hell stop.

I would continue therapy for him. His fascination with fire puts your family in danger of having your house burn down.

It might be a little drastic but you can find so much online. try to find pictures of burn victims to show him what could happen to him.
