Unless it has some type of address that is directly from a certain place (i.e. a school address or maybe even something like indy.rr.com), it's unlikely, and even many private IPs encrypt their email systems pretty tight. My only other suggestion would be that if there is a private address like comcast, sbcglobal, etc., they may have something listed under a member profile in the respective directory.

If you're talking snail mail - then check the Postmark. It will say what city it was mailed from

yes u can if u see the full header of the email u will notice a few ip address goto http://www.dnsstuff.com and enter those ip address it will give u state and city but NEVER there address or personal details, also give isp.

Right click on the actual email "from" address and click on "properties"...then "details" then "message source"...that should help.
