The Cardinals, with Pujols, who will win the MVP, and an improving pitching arsenal. And Rolen is the best 3rd in history. There is no doubt, Cardinals all the way.

Usually when these two meet, you can throw the records and current streaks out the window. Even though the Cardinals have had a much better team this season, they have not played well against the Cubs, and this is coming from a huge Cardinals fan.

Whoever has the best pitcher going on a particular day. If Zambrano is pitching then the Cubs are favored, if Carpenter is pitching then the Cards are.
The Cardinals are a better team and would win more games than the Cubs.
