Right now, my favorite song is Savin' Me, by Nickelback. I feel lost and lonely and sad a lot of the time, and the lyrics could quite easily have been ripped right from my soul. (Well, except the prison gates part.) In general, though, I tend to prefer rap music (I know, I know, spare me the lecture) mostly JayZ, and a lot of older rock. Love Skynyrd, Aerosmith, and the like. What"s yours?

10,000 days, title track from the new Tool album. Tool is my favorite band and I am enjoying the new album a lot. I think they have managed to be just as brilliant as they were in their previous album, Lateralus. 10,000 days (the song) has great melodic elements and an overall feel that has a profound and far out feel, kind of like Pink Floyd, but with Tool's unique sound. The Drummer and vocals are really great. If you like really "good" music then I highly recommend it.

Tuesday's Gone, Lynard Skynard. I left for the Navy on a Tuesday and left everything behind, including a girl I loved. It completely changed my life and also it was the first song I danced to with that girl. So many parts of that song fit my life. AND it's a great song!

My favorite song is NGS by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Many people have never heard of them, or don't listen to music that's not in their native language, but this band has amazing talent. The best part is the opening riff. It also reminds me of someone whenever I listen to it.
