Good question!

But isn't a better question: Is Ken Lay really dead?

If he is dead, he could have perhaps found a convenient way to die rather than live in prison until he died. But it is possible that the stress finally got to him. He was old, after all, and not in the best of shape either.

But is he really dead? A guy like that could still afford to fake his death and pay a lot of people to help him do it.

My roomate just proposed yet another good question: Was Ken Lay murdered?

He could certainly have known something that might help him in his appeal and perhaps indict someone else.

Discuss...

He didn't kill himself...I mean he would have been staying at a 4 star prison with a golf course...He was almost best friends with President Bush....U don't think he woulda been out within a month? No i think he was murdered....I think he had some things he wanted to get out ...but he was silenced.

He died of a broken heart. He either thought he was really innocent, or that he could get away with it. The shock of having to go to jail was more than he could take.

I bet the people whom he cheated think he got off easy.

He killed himself by doing the wrong things for several years, which created stress in his life, which led to a heart attack......

Wouldn't surprise me if he was killed, he may have been ready to implicate some big names and had to be silenced.

i think he died. i can't believe his timing on this. screw thousands and thousands of people out of their retirement money and he walks away scott free.

it would've been nice had he served a few years before croaking.

oh well.
