ok.... there is a light bulb that needs to be changed. it is located on a ceiling that is 25 feet above the floor. there are two people. one has a massive supply of wood and a saw. the other has a massive supply of nails and a hammer. there is one brand new lightbulb on the floor. whoever can change the lightbulb will receive all the worlds knowledge and over a lifetimes worth of all the material possessions that could ever be wanted. what is the most logical way to get this lightbulb changed?

So, then whats going on in our world people?

If only one person can get all the worlds knowledge and over a lifetimes worth of all the material possessions that could ever be wanted, then they'd have to fight each other and steal the loser's stuff if neither of them would allow the other to change the light. To be even more tricky, one person could say that the other could have it and help build something to get up to the light and just as it's finished they take the other person out, if you know what I mean.

That issue right there--Only one person can "..receive lifetimes Worth of all the material possessions..." There is no way that only one person could complete the task, without killing the other. Haven't we learned anything from history people. All of that (possession) isn't just for one person. It is for all!! If only communism had been practiced the way Marx intended- everyone could learn to share all the worlds knowledge and oave a lifetimes worth of all the material possessions. Even basic logicalness lets a 5 yr old realize its better to share than to have none at all!!!

It would degenerate into the throwing of the nails and the beating with the 2x4s.

The two people will obviously have to cooperate in order to build a small ladder as they both have the tools and neither can do it alone.
