Far and away, the best television is 24. It's so good, I hate actually having to watch it on TV because the commercial breaks and week-to-week breaks just make the suspense worse! This show has revolutionized TV dramas with its intense action, far-reaching plots, and real time format. It launched the massive wave of TV shows coming out on DVD when season one shattered sales records. Keifer Sutherland is amazing as Jack Bauer, with a supporting cast that is near perfect in that it's ok to hate some of the characters, because somebody's going to die so you have someone to root for there! I've never known anyone who has actually sat down to watch this show and, having given it a chance, not gotten hooked.

Star Trek, Voyager,Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the first 4 seasons of the Simpsons.
As of late? Probably Desperate Houswives and/or The Colbert Report.
