If people are born homosexual and that is okay, what about pedaphiles and necropheliacs or people who commit bestiality. Are they in the same league as homosexuality?

First of all I am not gay. Second of all, I am not a necropheliac or pedaphile. The question came to me because I lived in Thailand and a large percentage of the people there are homosexual. I, personally believe that everyone has a choice and G-d will sort it out.

Homosexuality has indications that it is genetic, it is definately found in nature and so on.Pedophilia and necrophilia are considered mental illnesses. There is no biological evidence of it being 'normal' and neither are found in nature. They are NOT the same thing as homosexuality.

some people say there is a problem in the genetic structure that makes a person to bias toward homosexuality, but still, it is not that they are born homosexual. as the sex is clearly defined with the phisical evidence of a penis or a vagina. so the predisposition is just that... if we could go into a religious belief matter, homosexuality is condemned in most religions, so in the religious point of view, God wouldnt creat someone that will be automatically condemned and not having th option to change that so he/she could save his/her soul. so that rules out natural born homosexuality. now if we take a look toward darwinism, natural selection would make the weak species disappear or oblige them to evolve so they can live... that means, anything that goes against survival of the specie must eveolve (or that trait disappear) or the specie will be extinct. so since homosexuality, if it would be genetic, is a trait that automatically goes against proliferation since 2 same sex persons cannot breed, then that trait should have disappeared long time ago for humans to populate the earth so long. so if the genetic or natural born 'problem' disappeared, what it is? probably that same thing, a predisposition toward a different sexual orientation, that does not defines, but is defined by the person itself choosing to move that way. I tend to incline to the thought that God wouldnt put a person to be condemned just as he/she is born, and that the homosexuality is an 'unnatural' behavior that has no reason to be but for the same person's choice.

I don't think they are in the same league per say, but thats not to say its not close.

They are all types of sexual preferences that aren't very socially acceptable, although obviously some are worse than others. I would assume many of the pedofiles had some kind of abuse early on in life that led them to this deranged behavior.

As to the Necros and Zoofiles.. I may not personally like the idea and it my appal me, but its just a sexual choice and I really don't know if it has anything to do with bad experiences or just.. the way a person feels and what they like, as is the case with homosexuality(since homosexuality is not something caused(always) by abuse or tragedy like some think it is)

I hope that helped at least a little bit to answer your question

Partially. Let me just say first that I think that it is insulting to lump in necropheliacs and pedophiles in with homosexuals. These are all "sexual preferences" in the same way that someone likes to be massaged or is attracted to large breasts or feet. Some acts are considered deviant by societal standards- it is about what we are taught as people that makes something feel wrong. It is not the act itself that is inherently wrong- it is that it is judged "wrong" by societal standards. I think that some people are born with a tendency toward certain preferences but it is the environment that shapes the person into what they become, ultimately. It does not always have to be nature vs. nurture- sometimes it can be both.

Dang! Zetz F, for you to ask this question leads me to conclude that you are having self doubts about your sexuality or perhaps about someone near and dear to you; am I right? Yea, yea, I've heard all the theories about how, perhaps, and it's not really proven but it may be genetic because how can some kids come out "homo" if they came out of a "perfect" family atmosphere and so on. I've heard the flip side of the coin saying it's because a physical and/or emotional trauma coupled with cultural or religious reaction to that trauma. ZETZ F., you could go nuts trying to figure the ins and outs of the whys and why me s. Whatever you decide....just remember one thing...God loves you. Not how other people love you (some people will love you one minute and hate you thirty seconds after you tell them you're gay) God really loves you inside. Yet, He hates when you sin and He will let you suffer the consequences.

As for myself, as long as I don't have to go to bed with you and it's not against the law...I don't care. ZETZ F., remember God does care, people really don't. So why ask people on "Yahoo Answers"...ask God and make your peace with Him.

ZETZ, I just read your update saying you're not gay but that you were in Thailand and there are a majority of gay people there, etc. So, if I said anything that doesn't apply to you just know that there are alot of Answer people out there that this does apply to them and it may even help them a bit...maybe even someone in Thailand...who knows. Either way, I liked your profile.

Being born with a tendency doesn't mean you HAVE to act on it. Being human beings we have to live within a social context. That determines what and what isn't socially acceptable behavior. Which are often described as moral, legal, polite, and so on.

Necrophilia, and Pedophilia and not acceptable within this or any social group that immediately comes to my mind.

Part of me thinks these are taboos the have survived for a very long time. And, so there-for are evolutionarily correct.

Can't tell you why, I haven't studied the issue at any length.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents.

Yes, people are born sinful.and separated from God. It is up to each individual to decide and make choices. Any action that God has told us is wrong is for our own good. The way we can find out what he wants to do or not to do is to read the bible. Start with The New Testament. The only way to escape the sorrows, troubles, and problems that these actions cause is to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and to follow his way. He is really a pretty neat leader and friend.

most all sexual exploits were explored and celebrated for centuries in our history, leaders and aristocrats of Greece, Egypt, and others were documented(only the lives of rich were documented) as having young(9-14) same and opposite sex concubines, often spending more time with select lovers then with wives,
i believe we are all born into it, all of it, we have just been trained into suppression by our society, now a days people are not being as strictly trained, or limited in there upbringing, making further exploration of these natural feeling an acceptable thing.
it's strange that Americans seem so outraged that a grown man would attempt consensual sex with a boy, but not bothered by the 60,000-100,000 underage sex SLAVES boys, and girls, that are bought and sold in other countries around the world every year. yea, it's all natural, the rest of us just strive to be better than our instincts.

There is some evidence for a genetic link to homosexuality, like in a pair of (identical) twins, if one is homosexual, there is a high probablity that the other will be too. Of course, that could be caused by shared environment. But even if there is a homosexuality gene it would have to be triggered by something for it to manifest, since homosexuality isn't like hair or eye colour. It's more like predispositions to being outgoing rather than a concrete manifestation.

As for paedophiles, necrophiliacs, and people who prefer animals to humans, those are purely behavioural. It's like conditioned into them by their environment, personality, experiences, and so on.

Somehow having sex with a corpse just isn't in the same category with having sex with someone of your own gender.

Yes homos are born that way. Most Pedos are different. Most are just abusing the kids for power more than anything. However, a homosexual pedophile would have still been born homo. Necros and beastialities I'm not sure about. Never met one but I imagine that they have a brain abnormality of some kind.

Wow.. okay none of that is born. There is no homosexual, pedophile, necrophiliac gene.... something really ****** UP happens in their life and they are affected in such a way that they become homosexual.. or a pedophile.. etc. the end. case closed.
