Why do courts send children back to "known" abusive homes? This truly bothers me.

Child abuse has been around since the world began. So who knows how to stop it.

The thing today is, kids also abuse the system. If they are rightfully punished for something that they don't like, they call the abuse hot line and lie, to get their parents in trouble. To get even.

But to give a child back to parents who really do abuse their children isn't right. But the courts feel a child should have two legal parents, reguardless if they beat them. Instead of putting them in foster homes, or adoption agencies, where the tax payer pays for them. Let the parents be responsiable, and hurt them more.

I don't understand it either, and it shouldn't be right. Look at the one years ago, where the mother and father beat the little girl. I can't remember her name, but it was in the papers, and on tv. The mother was beaten also, but the mother also beat the little girl. She was taken away for awhile, and then given back. Then both parents beat her so bad, they killed her.

How are we to know which is real or fake? The stuff they show on tv is also teaching our children what they can do in order to get back at their parents for telling them no. I don't believe in telling a child he is stupid, but telling him/her they did something stupid, that's the difference.

I guess babies having babies these days does not help either. They get frustrated over what happened to them, they take it out on the child, because in most cases they are single parents, and the ohter parent isn't there to help. So who better to take it out on then the child. Then in other cases, if step parents are involved, well it isn't their kid, so who cares what happens. It isn't of their blood, and they figure they can do what they want, rape, beat, even kill them.

The only thing I can think of do to is, raise my child knowing the right and wrong way, on treating children. There is a right way and wrong way to discipline your kids, and maybe if more people got together to teach our children this, maybe we could get rid of child abuse. But until that day comes, we will just have to do the best we can.

Now this is my opinion, and I have raised four children, and have five grandchildren. I think I have done a fairly good job. They don't beat their children, but they do punish them when they have done something wrong.

I know this hasn't really answered your question the way you wanted, but I don't think in our life time we will see child abuse gone from the face of the earth. We will just have to keep fighting it, and letting the courts know it's not right .

Have a nice night.

We have a screwed up court system. I know countless women and children that have been abused. A friend of mine got sexually abused, and she got taken out of her home for 2 months, and she got sent back. She got into trouble by setting a fire in the woods. It got everyone's attention. My little step-brother had gotten beaten all the time, and I felt guilty and thought it was my fault. Finally everyone listened and her stepdad went to prison. It takes so much to get people to listen sometimes. The people that do listen and try to help are overpowered by the people that can do something about it. (law enforcement) I think we all need to come together and help prevent child abuse. I don't know how but it needs to be done.

Actually, it is society that tolerates this outrage. I say we put the Child Abuse Predators on a dessert island with the murders and others who can't live by society's rules/laws. Bait the island with sharks and let the criminals survive together or die. No we are not going to drop air drop food or fresh water in to them. They decided they didn't want to live in our society, so let's help them out.
You can become aware of what Predators are living in your neighborhood. Keep your eyes open around the playgrounds and malls, if you see something that doesn't seem right notify the authorities. Help educate the Judaical system.
Stand up and say as an American I am tired of this (Predators getting off easy) and force our politicians to do something about it. We vote them in. We can vote them out.
Or we could just take each Predator and coat them with honey and drop them off out in the dessert someplace. yeah, crazycat.lady has a problem with these Predators, they tend to bring out the wild cat in her.

One way to help stop child abuse is to not allow you anywhere near children. Just the mere sight of you is enough to produce suffering in anyone.

argue with me all you want. but the only way to cut it down is the death penalty. i mean 8 months and out living outside a school isnt enough for me. and unfortunaly even doing that wouldnt stop it all together. cause all criminals dont think they will get caught.

Because there seems to be more Injustice than justice.
Why are they not being charged with a crime? Is there no proof?
I think the penalty for every crime should be: do unto them as they do upon you!!
