I have freckles and other family members used to have a lot as well but as they reached 20ish they faded away. I'm coming up to 21 and they don't show any signs of finding a new face to annoy! I know it sounds crazy- everyone must think once they are there, they are there to stay... but has anyone actually ever seen an adult with freckles on their face?!

Most of my facial freckles have faded some, but I think that's because I have worn makeup for many years now. Freckles are a product of the sun and so my freckles on my shoulder are worse than they were when I was a kid. They don't fade unless you protect them from UV rays. Wear lots of sunscreen if you don't mind not tanning and they will fade after some years of protection. Otherwise, just love them. They will make you look young when you want to look young.

Hey girl freckles are fine, I have freckles and yes with
age they will lighten up, but if you hit the sun, they come back!
I used to say, if they would all connect with each other I would have a great tan. Not to worry, some of the tinted moisturizers
will give them a bit coverage. By the time you hit 30 they will not be totally gone but less visible.

I have seen adults with freckles (usualy red heads but not always)

I still have freckles myself but they are faded, I'm not sure if thats because I've gotten older (I'm 21) or just because I avoid the sun when I can (they were always light unless I got tanned)

I am 25 and I have freckles! They are showing no signs of leaving either! I look at them as beauty marks. They help make me unique! Although I was asked one time when I was hanging out with another friend with freckles if we were stnading behind a screen when a cow farted!! It was our old boss and we were always goofing around with each other! Freckles are beautiful. Don't wish them away!

There are a bunch of skin whiteners in the form of soaps and lotions for sale here in the philippines so if you have friends or know anyone, you could ask them to bring you some. What I did for my freckles was I used whitening soap which I left on for five minutes, and then after that I applied whitening lotion, and viola! three days later I had no freckles. I live in the Philippines though, where all these products are widely available, although I am of caucasian descent.

I'm ... yikes... 43 and still as freckled as ever - I believe it has to do with the amount of sun you get and the pigment in your skin. In my opinion freckles can be "cute" and show a touch of personality - more so then a plain boring face .. but thats my opinion

i don't know about freckles, I've never had them nor does any person in my family. But as I've gotten older my skin has gotten darker. It's like I'm getting tans every summer and they barely fade away.
