South Korea is a risk ... ? North Korea obviously is, I just wanted to see how many people here actually take the time to read the details of a question rather than just posting some worthless answer based on the little information provided in the subject line in a panicked attempt to be first. It’s pretty sad that no one really cares to give a useful answer, but rather they seem to have the fast food mentality, you know; shove it out as fast as you can with little regard for quality. It’s sort of a microcosm of today’s society where people don’t have enough time to be informed on the issues of the day, they just skim the hot words and make a decision. Unfortunately that’s why negative politics works in this country, everyone reads the headlines and no one reads the substance. If you answered either for or against war with our ally, I’ll bet you voted for Bush; just my own unscientific sociological experiment. If you actually read this, I bet you are a democrat.

"If you answered either for or against war with our ally, I’ll bet you voted for Bush"

So, in other words, any answer other than yes or no must be from a Democrat? That's awfully specious logic. Moreover, it paints the Democrats in the worst of all light, because it assumes they wouldn't even be capable of rendering either an educated opinion on the issue (ie, "no") or a knee-jerk one (ie, "yes"). But then, it's waffling like that which doomed John Kerry, wasn't it?

If you want to editorialize, start a Yahoo! 360 page and get to it. Drop the "sociological experiments" and stop kludging up the Q&A pages.

No we shouldn't go to war with South Korea.....they are as worried about that mad man as we are.

Now...North Korea is where the risk lies ..Kim Jong is a Wacko !
but going to war with North Korea would be like the swat team descending on Pee-Wee Herman....besides if you look around.. the Russians and Chinese can't make up their minds whether to
Sh*t or get off the pot.
That would be a scary thought.....Russian Technology and Chinese man power.
Maybe the starving people in North Korea will rise up and overthrow him when he starts taking all of the money in the national budget and making more stink bombs.

If we went to war because another country had nukes too we would be fighting forty countries.

As to North Korea Korea being a real threat to the world I wouldn't worry about it.

They have no alleys to back them up. They are so poor they can't feed and supply their own army and their air force is a joke.

There are a lot more dangerous countries to worry about.

Dem from a blue state. :) I did read it. I thought to myself, "What kind of bird brain misread the news & posted this?" when I saw the question in the general area.
So, no, we should definitely not go to war with South Korea. And not North Korea either. I mean seriously, how many times did Kim Jong Il jump up & down warning us??

I hate fast food.

Interesting experiment on your part, but the results don't wash. I am a Republican. And I voted for Bush. And I read that whole paragraph.

And yes, I already knew that South Korea is our ally.

I actually read the whole thing, but my first answer was going to be of course we're not going to war with South Korea.

What did poor South Korea do? Yes, I read the entire question, and I am an independent. Only extremists do not / cannot read.

Awesome! I was about to go off on a Tirade, but I read your entry. Great sociological experiment. Incidentally, I pride myself on providing useful and relavent answers. Of course, I'm a smart-aleck, and so there are the occasional two-word retorts on some of my answers.

Hey now, I'm a republican and thought the question was amusing. But I have to agree.. most people don't even know there is a missile threat. No one ever pays attention.
