That is a good question. I think they will be improved, but it depends on how improved the other teams are.

They will definitely be better. I'm a Chicagoan too,and I've stuck with them through the lean years, but I think you're about right with the #2 seed. They aren't done with changing up the roster, Tyson Chandler has been traded, for P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith. Brown is a solid 10 point 10 rebound guy, he's old but his contract is up at the end of the year. Smith is a young swingman who had problems with the coaches in New Orleans, but has loads of talent. The trade gives the Bulls more flexibility for next year's free agents, and remember that the Bulls can swap picks with the Knicks in the 2007 draft, and I imagine they'll want to.

The Bulls still need a low post scorer, plus the two draft picks (Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha) are somewhat raw, but the core nucleus who played Miami so tough is back, and now they have a legitimate force on defense and the boards down low.

The Bulls should be a force in the Eastern Conference, if we could only keep our mascot out of jail.

I think they will better. Did you happen to read that article on the EAST? It was saying how any team in the East that doesn't have Wade, LeBron, or Dwight Howard has to have the quick fix mentality. Do somethin now and make a run at it. cuz any team thinkin they will rebuild for the future is foolin themselves. In the future? what, 5, 6, 7 years from now? Those 3 guys will be in their prime! So anyway, YES, Wallace will help. Your bulls just traded Tyson Chandler today. Wonder what their next moves will be??

even though have now have Mr. Wallace, that does not mean that they will work as a team.
Just because you have offered the money does not mean that the person can provide the goods.

Prime example...The Detroit RedWings paid to have Kronwell and he got hurt at the begining of the season and you did not see him until the very end. How productive was the trade.

Bulls were great last 2 seasons beating teams like Spurs at their home and Pistons. They can beat anyteam but lose to anyteam. I think this season they should be #2 behind Miami in East. I don't know how far in playoffs but probably atleast second or third round.

They will get to the Eastern Conference finals where they will get beat in a game 7 by the heat why because Heat has more experience and they have Shaq who Big Ben Has no Answer for.
