Yeah I vote because if you don't and then the person in office does something you don't like if you did not vote you really have no place to be upset unless of course you were not old enough to vote at the time

I voted for the first time in the last election. (Was only the second election I was old enough to vote for.) Mostly I did it because I had gotten jury duty and there was no point of avoiding it, plus I wanted to vote against Bush.

Oh, yes, I do. I think that's a good chance to change something. BTW, I'm not in or from the USA. I'm in and from Argentina. Here, voting is compulsory, but it's a fact that people who don't vote don't get punished. Anyway, I haven't missed one election since I could first vote in 1989.

yes since I turned 18 I have been voting and the reason I do is because I have a responsibility to myself, to my family and to this country to vote for what is right and not just to benefit myself or only this country but also think of what I vote for will affect other people and the rest of the world

Of course I vote....in every single election.
Many many people fought so that I could have the right to
use my voice in the political process. I will always make time to cast my vote...

yes, I vote. I want to make a difference in the world, and have a say in what goes on in my country. It isn't free to be in a free country. People fought for our independence, so it's my duty as an American to care who is in office or not.

Yes, I always vote, and I am a centrist/moderate type of person who no longer trusts either the republicans or the democrats. I vote my conscience, independently

I don't vote because I don't care. Honestly, none of it effects me enough to make me care. The day they try to draft me into the army.. THAT will be the day I start caring.

Anyways, I won't be living here much longer so meh.

I vote, but I can't vote for the president. This is one of the injustice of living in a colony.

Absolutely. It is the only way to have my voice heard. Unfortunately, my voice counts only as much as the lowest common denominator of society, regardless of whether they understand any of the issues or know (or care about) any facts whatsoever.
