Kitty Kat Hi:
Move on. You are a wonderful person and you keep an open heart, but now is the time to close the door, and take good care of you and your family. What you do, you children will do. If you let someone continue to walk all over you, then your children will allow this in their lives.
Take care of yourself. This is what life is all about, and love your enemy from afar. Hey, go and take good care of you and yours,
luv Ava

All I can say is, friends are not mean!!! That person is not your friend. You can forgive people like it says to do in the bible, but that does not mean that you have to let people treat you or your family badly. What that means to me is that the person needs some preaching to. I have forgiven many people in my life, but that does not in any way make them my friend or someone I would leave my children with etc...

Just as it takes strength to forgive, it takes just as much strength to know that a person is not good for you. Some people are in our lives for a season while others are in our lives for a lifetime.
The strength comes in knowing where to place the people you meet. If this person only brings out the worst in you, then their season is over. It's time to let this person go.
Good luck. =^)

The worst thing you can do is to keep letting this person do that to you or your family. They need to be told to stop it in no uncertain terms for many reasons...one being that you need to let them know that you respect yourself and your family way too much to be treated that way...and also they need to take a look at themselves and ask why they would do that in the first place...Are they jealous of you? Take action now!...oh...and yeah...God says forgive...not be a doormat!

what Jesus was talking about was when the Jewish people ignored the Sabbath for their land (one year of rest for the land for every seven years). the Jewish people were sent into Babylonian captivity for 490 years or 70 x 7.
i would let friends and family know how i am feeling and maybe they are feeling the same (or similar way) too. sometimes relationships are ruined for a lack of open, honest communication.

i think real friends and family dont require forgiveness that often because they dont offend or abuse or stick you in the back because they are real friends or family. personally i find it more offensive when these people do it because they are the last ones that should so i'm less likely to forgive them because they are less likely to deserve it.

Forgiving and praying for our enemies doesn't mean being stupid.
