yes, infact when people talked to my parents about me being spoiled there reply was always, that i was not spoiled but very much loved, i had to work for all i got just like others, but my parents always gave me much love and affection for every thing that i did. so i guess i was spoiled with love, cause now i expect that everyone would love me.

My parents showed me they loved me in many ways, but they were more like my friends than my parents. They allowed me to do almost anything I wanted to, as long as I worked to pay for it and had a reason why. For this reason, I feel like I never really had "parents". I think discipline is a way parents use to show their love, and it's a dang good one, too.

my parents showed me they loved me by providing food, shelter and clothes otherwise they didn't show any love. Saying I love you in my house growing up was like saying a dirty word, it was wrong to say and you sounded silly if you did say I love you. Now that I have children of my own I tell them everyday that I love them more than anything in the world and I don't feel stupid or silly saying it to them, but yet to this day I can't tell either of my parents I love them

Yes. My parents were always there to support me in good times and bad. They told me they loved me and they made home feel like the safest place in the world where you could always escape to if your day sucked. We did fun stuff together like take walks and fun vacations, and weird stuff too, like having tadpole releasing ceremonies at the pond by our house and playing seatbelt olympics in the car.

No.
I was a burden to my mother and, by the time my father got custody of me when I was 12, he didn't know what to do with me.
I now know that my father loves me more than his life!
He would die for me if necessary :-)
It makes up for the confusion in my teenage life for sure!
Unfortunately, it does not take away the scars...

Gave me a shoulder to cry, a hug, a kiss, and gave me lots of opportunities to do stuff i liked and gave me the best education they could, and sacrificed things for me. Should I go on?

No, my parents never complimented me or answer my questions. It's because I'm anti-social.

Not particularly. My parents were pretty standoffish.
