Christians judge because they are terrified of sin. They are terrified of the sin in their own lives. It's the finger-pointing thing. When you point your finger at someone there are three pointing back at you.

I love how people always throw the "judging" thing in our faces, like we're not supposed to have an opinion!! Let me tell ya, if you're my friend and I see you doing something that is harmful to yourself/family/friends/God I'm gonna say something! Wouldn't you thank me for telling you the truth? Or do real friends let you do whatever you feel like no matter who gets hurt in the process?

Religions are the opium of the society.
The correct practicing of their is determined for the cultural level of each person. That's why, don't pay too much attention to illiterate persons and follow trusting in God and be a good person in front of the society.

Thanks for the stuff about true Christians. Yeah, I can't stand the people that say they're Christians and act all high-and-mighty above everyone they consider "sinful". Like you said, Christians aren't supposed to judge others, they're supposed to respect others and their decisions. Too many hypocrites. And I'm not saying I'm perfect, far from it. I just respect others and don't shove my beliefs down their throats.

What if there is a hell, and what if non-christians really go there? By non-christian, I mean anyone who does not have a saving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who alone is able to forgive your sin and redeem you?

Many people whatever their faith grab onto the rules and obedience to these rules fuels their beliefs and gives them something tangible to hang on to.
So many people have to force others to believe as they believe in order for their own faith to be validated. Faith can be a daunting task, but God asks us to believe by Faith alone.
Even Jesus broke the rules and upset all the legal eagles in the process, but we have to make a choice, worship God or worship his rules.

if you dont think that all christians are the same, you probably shouldnt word your question like that.
also, im not saying all christians fit into this category either, but sometimes you should look at it this way. if you woke up one night and your house was burning, wouldnt you wake up the rest of your family and get them to run outside with you? what if they passed out in their sleep and never noticed and died in the fire? telling them the house is on fire isnt happy news, and its not good, but you know its important and needs to be addressed. sometimes its like that with christians and hell. the one who woke up and discovered the world is going to fire wants to help you get out before its too late.
just another way of looking at it . . .

can you not see? smart intelligent people who no longer believes in the Bogey man don't need religion. the only devil is within man himself and by the way that's where god is also. so you see, forget how you were raised to believe, explore and think for yourself first. you know right from wrong, it's in the majority of us. only on a scale.

Uh... hate to sound judgemental, but that sounds more like Catholicism thann Christianity. Catholics usually preach hell, sinning, general religion.
