Soemtimes you can get a permit to drive to and from work. If you have an otherwise good driving record you might point that out also. If you can afford a lawyer or paralegal to help you compose the letter that may help. I think it would really help to have a well composed letter thoroughly outlining why you should not be suspended. If you really deserve it, however, just chalk it up and wait it out.

Use standard business form for the letter. Research the violation that caused the suspension...sometimes there are hardship clauses. Use simple language and be honest. State your situation, state the reason you believe you should not be suspended, and politely suggest your desired conclusion. (for example, you might ask that your situation be reconsidered based on the information provided.)

Do it in a memo format:to whomit may concern...right all facts a systematic format. Than attach all proof to document. Make sure you send photo copies and it is always best to go in person to the main office if possible. Leave a number and address and call every week to follow up.

be very polite , apologize for what happened to get it suspended, and don`t try lay the blame on anyone else.
